The Jefferson Muslim Association is proud to present the Islamic School of Greater New Orleans which has been an excellent educational resource for the muslim community and continuously strives to prepare students academically through an Islamic environment to become life-long learners and contributing members of society. Academic achievement is not compromised in this environment, but rather encouraged and expected. The ISGNO administration and staff understand the importance of educating children in accordance to the required academic standards expected by the most competitive schools. The school must be competitive in order for the students to excel in the larger community. Due to being approved by the state, the State of Louisiana school board provides checks and balances for maintaining continued rigorous  academic standards and content growth.
